Frequently Asked Questions
How long should my tan last?
The average result is 7 to 10 days of color. Factors such as skin type, activities, and maintenance can cause your results to vary. Ask your personal tanning consultant for more info on how to maintain your tan.

Is it safe?
Yes. The main ingredient in our sunless tanning product is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a simple non-toxic sugar. It is often derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA is FDA approved. If you have any health conditions or concerns, you should consult with your physician prior to your first appointment.

How long does a tanning session take?
On average, a full body session takes about 10 minutes (not including setup time).

How much does it cost?
See our
Pricing/Packages page for detailed information on cost.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
See the instructions in the section below.

Can I still go out in the sun or tan in a tanning bed?
Yes, however be very careful not to burn your skin. The spray tan does not protect your skin from the sun, so you should apply sunblock or take other preventative measures to avoid burning your skin. If you do burn and peel it could make the spray tan look uneven, so be cautious.

Will the spray tan cover up my tattoos or hurt them in any way?
No, the spray tan is safe for your existing tattoos and it will not cover them up.

Preparing for your tan:

  • Exfoliate your skin prior to your appointment. This promotes even coverage and lengthens the duration of your tan by removing dead skin that would otherwise flake off.
  • If you plan on waxing, wax at least 8 hours prior to your appointment and avoid waxing for at least a few days after the tan.
  • Avoid wearing makeup/moisturizer as this acts as a barrier to the spray.
  • Wear whatever you are comfortable with (suggested attire is dark-colored underwear or swimsuit). The cosmetic bronzer may rub off on clothing/sheets, however it will wash out of most fabrics. Nylons, lycra, silk, and leather should be avoided until your first post-tan shower (minimum of 8 hours after tan).

Does it hurt to get a temporary airbrush tattoo?
This is one of our most commonly asked questions. The answer is NO! If anything, it tickles a little.

How are tattoos applied?
Tattoos are applied via airbrush utilizing non-toxic cosmetic body paint and one of our custom stencil designs. The area is sterilized prior to application.

What kind of paint do you use, and how safe is it for the skin?
Airbrush tattoo paints are multi-color, designed specifically for application to the skin. Produced in the USA with FDA approved skin safe ingredients, our premium body paints are instant drying and can last up to a week.

How long does a temporary airbrush tattoo last?
Tattoos are water resistant, and last on average a few days or can be removed instantly with isopropyl alcohol or baby oil. The duration of the tattoo depends mainly on how it is cared for. Follow these simple instructions to maximize the duration of your tattoo:

  • Pat dry after bathing or swimming.
  • Avoid rubbing the tattoo.
  • Avoid direct contact with oils, lotions, and soap.
